One way of making money from other people’s dirt and waste it to get onto the business of sewage and water treatment. Who also includes the disposal of black and grey water. Although neither of them sound very appealing, there is actually a quite difference between them.

Blackwater is the stuff that has come in direct contact with human waste and therefore poses a distinct safety hazards. That means that the ways of disposing of it, especially in a commercial situation need to be efficient, and effective and need to stay that way.

So there is money to be made installing such systems in the first place. As well as repairing current systems and ensuring that they have the right elements, like the flow meter from Abestmeter fitted. So whoever is in charge can check that everything is working correctly.

Grey water, on the other hand, isn’t as dangerous as black water. Although some states do have regulation in place against reusing it.

Greywater is the wastewater that has been using for washing. Which also needs getting rid of but does not pose such a contamination risk as the black stuff. Which means there in money to be made in this area but perhaps not quite as much because of the reused risks involved.

2. Recycling

Of course, there is a big market for currently is recycling services at the moment. This is partly from the increase in legal regulations in this area. As well as the pressure from environmental and political groups to be more conscious about the environment.

Now, this is a good thing for anyone that is wanting to make some money in the waste industry. As not only can you charge for the service of picking up and taking such waste, but you can also make money on the other end selling products made from the recycled material such as roof insulation.

3. Confidential Waste

Now, something that you can make some serious money doing is disposing of confidential business waste. Why? Well it’s because people will pay a premium for the peace of mind that this job has been taken off of their hands and is being done right.

Of course, that means that you need to have rock solid procedures that can’t be breached. Such as only handing waste once it has been shredded and the like, to maintain customers security to the last.
