Feng Shui Your Home [Infographic]

Feng Shui

There are many elements that go into your interior design and home decor choices. Your style, preferences, the amount of space and your budget to name a few. But one element that rarely comes into play, is how will the items and colours I choose for my home affect the energy of the house and how will it affect my life outside my home. Feng Shui is a philosophical system that originated in China, primarily used to decide the location and placement of religious buildings. Since it’s inception over 3,500 years, Feng shui has evolved and is used all over the world to help people achieve better and more positive energy for their homes and lives.

The infographic below brought to us by Soothing Walls, features a Western style of Feng shui which doesn’t rely on compass directions. Instead what is used is a 9-square grid that you can apply to your own home by aligning the bottom of the grid with the front door of your house. Keep reading below to find out more.
