A lot of the time, slow speeds are because there’s too much stuff on the page. Too many images can make pages take an age to load up, be wary of that.

The worst websites are ones that are hard for you to navigate. The menus are a mess, and it’s torture trying to find what you want. You need to have an ‘About us’ page detailing your aims and goals. You will also need to have a contact info section, so people know how to get in touch. What you don’t want, is page upon page of useless info. If it’s not relevant to your business, don’t bother including it. It’s a waste of space and won’t serve any benefit.

It’s vital that your website works well on mobile devices too. It has to be mobile friendly, which means optimising it for mobile devices. If you don’t, people won’t bother using your site on their phones or tablet. No one wants to load up a full desktop website on their small mobile device.
