Nottingham Band ‘Dead Souls’ Leading A UK Grunge Revolution

Dead Souls

Dead Souls are a 3-piece alternative rock band, based in Nottingham, comprising of Michael Preston (vocals/guitar), James Lee (drums) and Gaz Lews (bass).

With Mudhoney, Alice In Chains and Soundgarden all having released albums recently and Pearl Jam and Smashing Pumpkins (fresh from their amazing Glastonbury performance) set to release albums in the fall of 2013, the time couldn’t be more right for Nottingham Alternative Rock trio Dead Souls. Their debut album ‘Coma’ was released in April 2013 and led to GQ Magazine placing them firmly at the front of the UK grunge revolution.

The band are playing Liverpool’s Zanzibar venue on 7th September, and performing four shows in three days as part of the Oxjam takeovers in Derby, Liverpool, Beeston and Sheffield, before embarking on a UK Festival Tour in 2014. Listen to their debut album ‘Coma’ below.
